2018 Rocky Mountain Early Childhood Conference a Success
ECCLA and Denver’s Early Childhood Council presented the 2018 Rocky Mountain Early Childhood Conference on March 16-17 at the Colorado Convention Center. This year’s conference featured keynote speakers, Dr. Becky Bailey founder of Loving Guidance, Inc. and the Conscious Discipline program and Enrique “Hank” C. Feldman, founder of Global Learning Foundation.
The conference saw the largest attendance ever with over 2,500 early childhood professionals and advocates from across the Rocky Mountain region. Participants joined 150 interactive sessions across 11 tracks to advance their knowledge and understanding of early childhood. This year also featured dedicated workshops in Spanish, which provided an opportunity for all early childhood professionals to participate.
Over 55 exhibitors provided conference participants with information on their products and services, while the Colorado Youth Pipe Band added festive entertainment on both days. Early childhood professionals left the conference refreshed, renewed, and ready to implement new knowledge and strategies to support the healthy development and learning among Colorado’s young children.
