COVID-19 Resources for Families and Child Care Providers

Colorado Emergency Child Care Collaborative

As COVID-19 requires additional demands of our essential workforce to support our health care system, our human services providers, public safety professionals, and other members of our emergency workforce, child care will be a vital piece of Colorado’s response. Governor Polis called together a group of early childhood providers, advocacy groups, school districts and foundations to partner with the Colorado Department of Human Services (CDHS) and the Office of Early Childhood (OEC) to establish a system of emergency child care for our most essential workers. In local communities, Early Childhood Councils are coordinating with local partners and child care providers.
