ECCLA Convenes Councils for Two-Day Leadership Training

ECCLA convened Early Childhood Councils on September 6-7, 2018 for two days of leadership training at the historic Penrose House in Colorado Springs. ECCLA’s role is to support Councils as they align resources and services for young children and families in their local communities.

We generously received support from our Presenting Sponsor The Piton Foundation at Gary Community Investments which enabled ECCLA to bring high quality, subject matter experts to facilitate training focused on communications, data, advocacy, and board governance.

Additionally, we are grateful to our Corporate Partner Discount School Supply for sponsoring lunch and a fantastic networking reception! The opportunity to network is always appreciated by Councils leaders as it allows them to share best practices and innovations to build stronger local communities.

A special thank you to the Buell Foundation for their continued support of Early Childhood Councils and ECCLA.

Finally, we welcomed superb speakers from statewide partners including, Colorado Counties, Inc., Colorado Human Services Directors Association, Aponte & Busam Public Affairs, and Colorado Children’s Campaign, as well as subject matter experts from Fountain Visual Communications, Front Range Source, and Emily Davis Consulting.
