Elevate Colorado’s Early Childhood Workforce on Colorado Gives Day!

Colorado’s largest day of giving just around the corner. On this day, thousands of people come together to support Colorado nonprofits. Colorado Gives Day takes place on Tuesday, December 10, 2019 and we invite you to donate to the T.E.A.C.H. Early Childhood® COLORADO Scholarship Program! 

As a membership association, ECCLA supports Colorado’s 34 Early Childhood Councils with technical assistance and training, shared measurement for collective impact, advocating early childhood policies, and serving as a statewide voice. Early Childhood Councils serve as local hubs that help connect the dots creating a seamless early childhood system that improves access to high quality services and supports for young children and their families.

ECCLA also administers the T.E.A.C.H. Early Childhood® COLORADO Scholarship Program. This program helps to Elevate Colorado’s Early Childhood Workforce by providing tuition assistance, mentoring, and workforce supports for early childhood educators. Since inception, over 2,300 scholarships have been awarded.

The program offers early childhood education program directors and teachers a pathway to pursue higher education. We work with local communities to identify workforce needs, seek resources, and provide scholarships to support advancement of the early childhood workforce. Our annual report shows how T.E.A.C.H. supports and elevates early childhood professionals.
